Government will not allow human trafficking: Home Minister

Home Minister Azleen Ahmed have said that the government will not allow human trafficking in Maldives.
Speaking at a ceremony held on Thursday to mark World Human Rights Day Azleen said that the government will do everything they can to prevent human trafficking.
He said that in future human trafficking will not be allowed to happen in the territory of Maldives.
Azleen said that the government continues to work on gathering intelligence on human trafficking groups in the Maldives. Maldives is often used as a transit point for illegal immigrants and that can be stopped with international assistance.
