Former coach of New Zealand’s national team، Ricki Herbert has been appointed as the coach of National Football Team of Maldives.
The position for the coach of the national football team emptied when former coach Velizar Popov resigned from office.
Herbert is the coach under whose instructions that New Zealand’s national team got qualified for the World Cup in 2010.
Coach Herbert has met with the team in China. Although he won’t be coaching the national team in their match against China tomorrow، FAM says that he will be observing it.
