President Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ali Naseer Qasim as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
According to the President’s Office, Ali Naseer Qasim was appointed to the commission as the member nominated by the President in accordance with Article 158(a) of the Constitution of the Maldives and Article 3(8) of the Judicial Service Commission Act.
Ali Naseer Qasim was sworn in as a member of the JSC during a special ceremony held at the President's Office this morning.
The oath of office was administered by a Justice of the Supreme Court of the Maldives.
During the ceremony, President Mohamed Muizzu presented the official appointment letter to Ali Naseer Qasim following the swearing-in.
