Qasim pledges to remain with the youth

Jumhooree Party's (JP) presidential candidate Qasim Ibrahim said on Thursday night that the party will remain with the youth, during the festive campaign event held in Hulhumalé.
The "Furaveerun" event, which gained significant traction on social media and offered cash prizes, was lead by Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation and Deputy Leader of the JP Aishath Nahula.
The event featured live entertainment, including music and the traditional dance form "bodu beru." During the event, JP leader Qasim Ibrahim, made a brief appearance on stage, and Minister Nahula presented him with a set of forms of newly registered party members titled "Qasim 2023."

During his address at the event, Qasim said that "the country should be taken towards a brighter future with the same honestly as our forefathers did".
He added that they will always work towards the development of the country, emphasizing the involvement of youth, women, and children in the process.
"I am with all of you, and I want to assure you that we stand by the youth, do not worry...," Qasim said.
Nahula said that they will work to make JP the largest party in Maldives, citing the significant number of youth who had registered with the party in the past two weeks as a result of their efforts.
JP is currently on a campaign trip to multiple islands to recruit members for the party.
