President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has, appointed Minister of Youth and Sports Iruthishaam Adam as acting Minister of Foreign Affairs during Dr. Mohamed Asim’s visit to New York as head of the Maldives Delegation at the United Nations General Assembly,.
The President also appointed Minister for Legal Affairs at the President’s Office Aishath Azima Shukoor as the head of the Attorney General’s Office until AG Mohamed Anil’s return from an official overseas visit.
