The very first India Expo 2019 in conjunction with the India – Maldives Conclave kicked off on the eve of 15 October 2019.
The three-day expo exhibition commenced at 20:00hrs on Tuesday evening at Dharubaaruge and will last until 17 October 2019, Thursday.
India’s Mohan Mutha Exports (MM Exports) is the main-sponsor of the event while the State Bank of India (SBI) signed on as the co-sponsor of the event earlier in the week on Sunday, 13 October.
The event is organized by the SME Entrepreneurs Federation of Maldives (SEFM), a local SME advocating organization that came to inception to uphold and propagate the involvement of local Small and Medium Enterprises in the Maldives.
The ‘India Expo’ the one nation exhibition is the perfect platform for the Indian based companies to showcase their range of products and services to the Maldivian public and business community. In addition to this, the expo can also act as a perfect networking ground for Indian businesses to seek their Maldivian associates and partners.
The expo is running in conjunction with the India – Maldives Business Conclave, a specialized talk show with the presence of industry experts and professional panelists.
The three-day event will be broadcast with regular updates from local media broadcaster Raajje TV, and staying arrangements for the India partners and exhibitors to the event are covered by the Hospitality Partner Casa Retreat.
Absolute Security Advance and Protection (ASAP) is in-charge of all the security arrangements of the event.

The event timings except for the opening night runs from 14:00hrs until 18:00hrs and again from 20:00hrs until 22:30hrs.
