The Maldives Police Service has announced the postponement of the community outreach event "Coffee with a Police Officer," originally scheduled to take place today in Hulhumalé Phase 2.
According to a statement posted by the Police, the event was postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The session was planned to be held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Hiyaa Park, and a new date has not yet been announced.
“‘Coffee with a Police Officer’ scheduled for today has been postponed to a later date due to bad weather,” the Police Service stated via social media.
The program is part of an ongoing series designed to strengthen relations between police officers and the public in a relaxed, informal setting. A previous session was held in December, receiving positive community feedback.
The Police have stated that more updates will be provided once a new date is finalized.
