Chinese Ambassador to Maldives HE Mr. Wang Fukang have said that the Chinese government will provide technical assistance to island and city councils in Maldives.
He said this during a meeting held with LGA President and Home Minister Azleen Ahmed.
During the meeting, minister explained the work LGA is doing to raise awareness on decentralization to the ambassador.
The ambassador also said that, he will try to arrange a way to show Maldivian officials how the decentralization system of china works.
Minister Azleen thanked the ambassador for the continued assistance and aid from the Chinese government to Maldives. The meeting was also attended by senior officials of LGA.
