The Maldives Professional Speakers Association and Baa atoll Dharavandhoo Council are all set to launch the first-ever Maldives Speakers’ Retreat.
The retreat is slated on October 31 until November 3, 2025.
This retreat is expected to stand out from its contemporaries due to the event’s integration of the environment and Maldives’ unique beauty throughout its procession. The retreat also serves as the ample platform to attract visitors to Dharavandhoo since 2025 is celebrated as the ‘Visit Dharavandhoo’ year.
Co-founder and Vice President of Maldives Professional Speakers Association Hussain Afeef, while speaking about the retreat to Sun Online, confirmed the participation of internationally acclaimed speakers and experts. Afeef estimates participation of over 100 international professional speakers.
Registration is not limited age-restricted, the organizer confirmed and added the registration is now open. To secure seats at the retreat, interested parties may book seats via WhatsApp at +960 7303617.
While confirming registration is subject to a fee, Afeef added this detail would be shared later.

Besides this, Afeef also confirmed the international participants will receive the opportunity to enjoy and explore the idyllic island life during their stay, including:

While highlighting the retreat will be carried out with the full support of Dharavandhoo locals, Afeef had thanked its people for their contribution.
“Previously such events were held in classrooms, but we wanted to change it and hold such retreats on natural locations such as the beaches. If the weather allows then we intend to conduct all the sessions of this retreat outdoors,” Afeef added.
