A taxi carrying three people has fallen in to the sea in Haa Alif Atoll Ihavandhoo.
Spokesperson from Ihavandhoo said to Vaguthu the taxi fell in to the sea around 19:45 on Sunday evening while driving in a coastal road at the reclaimed area of Ihavandhoo. He said at the time of the fall، there were two women and one man along with the driver inside the taxi.
Reportedly، all sustained minor injuries during the incident.
According to the spokesperson، the taxi lost control after the engine malfunctioned. He further informed the taxi was going at a normal speed before it lost control due to the malfunction.
