Spokesperson of the Jumhooree Party, Ali Solih has said that there is no freedom if the opponents are physically harmed whenever there is a disagreement.
Ali Solih made this remark condemning the attack against Affan Nashid, the Jumhooree Party Youth League President.
He said that many of the youth today proclaim what they believe and they are concerned with the state of the nation.
“Every youth they express their thoughts. If they have a phone. It is a media center. They become journalists. Those who are in social networks have increased,” he said.
Ali Solih said that in every country the thoughts of the people will be different. And the leaders that the people support will be also different.
He said that attacking the opponent is a characteristics of a dictatorship and the law enforcement should find the culprit and bring them to justice.
