A single masked man broke into Dr Amal Ali’s home this morning, threatened to stab the former Minister, and stole her mobile phone.
Police have confirmed that a masked man broke into Dr Amal’s residence, Galolhu Dhooriam.
"A man concealed his face, entered the house, threatened with a knife and left with a phone," Police media official said.
Dr Amal Ali served as Minister of Gender, Family and Human Rights from July to November 2013 during Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik's administration.
