Economic Minister Mohammed Saeed have said that the most important bridge by the government is the economic bridge to other countries. He said that the government will continue to construct such bridges to more and more countries.
He made this statement while speaking at the opening ceremony of Maldives Investment Forum held at New Delhi on 22nd of November.
Minister Saeed said that, they will open up various opportunities for foreign and Maldivian investors to invest in Maldives. He said that the government will facilitate in all manners possible so that the investors can come in easily.
“We are working hard to make sure that investors can visit easily in Maldives. Maldives will always pave way for free trade” said the Minister.
Minister said that in addition to being famous for tourism and for being able to get return on investment quickly, that opportunity is open for other sectors in the Maldivian economy as well. Minister noted that the support received for the investment forums organized by Maldives is increasing.
“ Our policy is to publicize the opportunities in Maldives to foreign investors” said the Minister.
