Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed has stated that a democracy such as India recognizing the work carried out by President Abdullah Yameen was a great achievement for the nation.
He made the statement commending the President on achieving the “Dr. Kalam Puraskar for Excellence in Governance 2016”.
Minister Saeed said that the region had accepted the work carried out by President Yameen in changing the economic landscape of the country.
Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer said President Yameen had aimed to change the country by not by staging publicity stunts but by introducing projects that benefit the public.
Fisheries and Agriculture Minister Dr. Mohamed Shainee said the award was an achievement for the whole nation, adding that attaining the award in two years was especially remarkable.
