Maldives Meteorological Service has said that tidal wave flooding threats have minimised starting from today onwards.
Sea swell threats warnings were issued due to changes in ocean currents because of Monday’s lunar eclipse.
MET office said that while sea swells have not been reported in any of the islands today، the chances of sea swells have also declined.
Some islands in the northern، central and southern end of the country may experience sea swells، however، the chances are minimal now.
Today’s Maldivian weather forecasts says that scattered rain showers will be experienced across the country and winds may gust up to 40 miles per hour. Moreover، rough seas will generally be experienced across the country.
