An STO pharmacy has been opened in Meemu Atoll Veyvah, bringing the total number of such pharmacies established in the populated islands to 121.
The establishment and opening of the latest pharmacy - which has already begun its services - is yet another step in the government’s aim to reduce the shortage of medicine and healthcare in the populated islands.
For that, the government and state giant STO are jointly working together to provide a pharmacy - which provides services under the Aasandha scheme - to satisfy the medical demands of the islands citizens.
