މާފުށީ ޖަލުގައި ޙުކުމް ތަންފީޒްކުރައްވަމުން ގެންދަވާ ކުރީގެ ރައީސް މައުމޫނު އަބްދުލް ޤައްޔޫމް ފުލުހުންގެ ތަހުޤީޤަށް ފޯން ދެއްވިނަމަ ޖަލުގައި ހުންނަވަން ޖެހިވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާނެ ކަމަށް ވިދާޅުވެ އެމަނިކުފާނުގެ އެއްބަފާ ކޮއްކޯފުޅު ރައީސް އަބްދުﷲ ޔާމީން ދެއްކެވި ވާހަކަފުޅަށް ރައީސް މައުމޫންގެ ޤާނޫނީ ވަކީލު މައުމޫން ހަމީދު ރައްދު ދެއްވައިފި އެވެ.
އެގޮތުން މައުމޫން ހަމީދު މިއަދު ކުރެއްވި ޓްވީޓެއްގައި ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވަނީ ރައީސް މައުމޫން އާއި އެމަނިކުފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުން ފާރިސް މައުމޫން އަދި ދަނބިދަރިކަލުން މުހައްމަދު ނަދީމުވެސް މި "އަނިޔާވެރި އަދި ބޭއިންސާފުން ކަންތައް ކުރާ" ސަރުކާރާ ގުޅިއްޖެނަމަ، އެ ބޭފުޅުން ހަމައެކަނި ތިއްބަވާނީ ގޭގަ ނޫން ކަމަށާއި މަތީ ދަރަޖަތައްވެސް ދެއްވާނެ ކަމަށެވެ.

އެހެންނަމަވެސް އެ ބޭފުޅުން ސަރުކާރާ ދެކޮޅުހެދުމުން ހައްޔަރުކުރި ނަމަވެސް، އެ ބޭފުޅުން އަމިއްލަ ނަފްސު ވިއްކާ ނުލައްވާނެ ކަމަށްވެސް މައުމޫން ހަމީދު ވިދާޅުވި އެވެ.
މައުމޫނު ހަމީދު ކުރެއްވި އެހެން ޓްވީޓެއްގައި ވިދާޅުވީ ޑިފެންސް މިނިސްޓަރު އާދަމް ޝަރީފް ދޫނިދޫ އަށް ވަޑައިގެން ރައީސް މައުމޫންއާއި ބައްދަލުކުރައްވައި ދެއްވި މެސެޖަކީ "އެއްބާރުލުން ދެއްވުމަށް" ރައީސް އެދިވަޑައިގަންނަވާ ކަމަށެވެ.
When Defence Minister @Adamshareefz visited Pres. @maumoonagayoom in Dhoonidhoo, one message he conveyed was, "Raees edhivadaigannavaa manikfaan ebbaarulun dhevvumah".
Raees Maumoon's response?
"Ebbaarulun dhinumakee nukuraa kamakah ebbasvun kamah vanyaa ekameh nukodhdheveyne!"

އޭގެ ޖަވާބަކަށް ރައީސް މައުމޫން ދެއްވީ، "އެއްބާރުލުން ދިނުމަކީ ނުކުރާ ކަމަކަށް އެއްބަސްވުން ކަމަށް ވަންޏާ އެކަމެއް ނުކޮށްދެވޭނެ" ކަމަށްކަން ވެސް މައުމޫން ހަމީދު ވިދާޅުވި އެވެ.
މައުމޫން ހަމީދު އަދިވެސް ކުރެއްވި އެހެން ޓްވީޓެއްގައި ވިދާޅުވެފައި ވަނީ ރައީސް މައުމޫން މިއަދު ޖަލުގައި އިންނަވަން ޖެހިވަޑައިގަންނަވާ ހަމައެކަނި ސަބަބކީ އަމިއްލަ ފައިދާ އާއި އާއިލީ ގުޅުންތަކުގެ ވެސް މައްޗަށް ޤައުމު އިސްކުރެއްވުމުން އެކަން ސަރުކާރަށް ހަޖަމް ކުރަން ދަތިވުމުން ކަމަށެވެ.
Let us be clear: Pres. @maumoonagayoom is in jail solely because persons in power were unable to digest the fact that Raees Maumoon chose national interest before self-interest, or even family relationships.
The real crime? Twisting political differences into criminal offences.

މައުމޫން ހަމީދު ވިދާޅުވީ ރައީސް މައުމޫނަށް އެއްވެސް ކަމެއް އޮޅިވަޑައިގެންފައިނުވާ ކަމަށާއި، އެމަނިކުފާނާއި ދަރިކަލުން ފާރިސް އަދި ދަނބިދަރިކަލުންނާއި މުޅި އާއިލާއަށްވެސް ކުރިމަތިވެފައިވާ ބޭއިންސާފާއި އުނދަގޫތައް، ސަރުކާރާއި ގުޅިވަޑައިގަތުމުން ނެތިގެންދާނެ ކަމަށެވެ.
Pres. @maumoonagayoom is under no illusions: all of the injustice he, @afarismaumoon @MNadhym & their whole family are suffering would magically vanish the day he & Faris politically realign themselves with the govt.
That they still refuse to surrender to tyranny says a lot.
