Expo Maldives 2016, the local exhibition on handcrafted items and cultural works, has been postponed to next year.
A statement released by the economic ministry stated that the exhibition, which was originally scheduled for December, will now be held in March 2017.
While the deadline to submit applications ended November 17, the notice stated that the ministry will keep accepting applications indefinitely.
It stated that applications can be submitted to the economic ministry, island councils, and the ministry’s business centers. Those who have already submitted their application forms are not required to re-submit, it added.
