A special award event - dubbed as the 'Arutha Award' - will be held this month, which aims to acknowledge those who had worked (and are working) in the entertainment industry.
The event was inaugurated in a special ceremony held last night in the VTV studio, and will be held by Maldives Society for Performing Arts (MSP) on the 11th at Olympus.
Arutha Award will consist of 10 categories with a total of 80 awards.
MSP partners have signed the partnership agreement in last night’s ceremony, including: Vmedia as the media partner, Digital Studio as photography partner, and MX Sign as printing partner.
MSP said that the event - which claims to be the biggest of its kind in the country - will give out awards for those in the film, dance, and music industry.
MSP has also scheduled a special stage show in Hulhumale’ on June 5th, called “Weekend Night – Nagaa foari Nagaa”; and that they will give opportunities for those interesting in singing or dancing in the show.
The 'Arutha Award' will be broadcasted on the Vmedia channel - VTV.
