The hearing of former President Mohamed Nasheed’s lawsuit against Hulhumale’ Court has been tabled on next Tuesday by the High Court.
The session held today at the High Court was a preliminary hearing of the lawsuit. The official hearing is tabled for February 3rd، next Tuesday.
The preliminary hearing held today was attended by President Mohamed Nasheed، and members of his lawyers team، Hassan Latheef، Hisaan Hussain، Abdulla Shaair and Ahmed Abdulla Afeef.
Former President Nasheed filed a lawsuit in High Court against Hulhumale’ Magistrate Court، inquiring the credibility of the court after the state prosecution of Nasheed in 2013 due to the case of arresting Criminal Court Chief Judge Abdulla Mohamed during his administration in 2011.
