Police on Friday arrest 17 Maldivians from capital city Male' in a drug-related case.
According to Police spokesperson, a house in the district of Galolhu was searched after intelligence reports of ongoing drug trade were received.
The search yielded a film roll, 10 pieces of wrapped cellophane and 164 small rubber packets containing a substance suspected to be drugs.
The Police further revealed the 17 arrested men ranged from 18 to 41 years.
Police are conducting further investigations into the case.
