Bank of Maldives supported the annual ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ organised by Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM) to raise public awareness on breast cancer.
The ‘Pink Ribbon Run-Walk’ took place in Hulhumale’ and 33 other islands in Maldives.
In addition, BML contributed MVR 150,000 to CSM in support of activities to raise cancer awareness. The contribution is to help provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families. Furthermore, the Bank said they will assist CSM’s cancer screening program on Faafu atoll.
As part of the long-standing cooperation, CSM conducted cancer screenings for the Bank’s employees earlier this month. Since 2016, the Bank of Maldives has supported CSM and the Pink Ribbon Run-Walk.
