President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has described the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Vietnam as a testament to the strong friendship between the two nations, in congratulatory messages sent to the State President of Vietnam, Luong Cuong, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to mark the occasion.
In his message to the State President, President Dr Muizzu extended warm greetings on behalf of the government and people of the Maldives, noting the milestone as a reflection of the enduring friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation between the two countries. He also expressed confidence in further strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in economic collaboration and people-to-people exchange.
In his message to the Prime Minister, President Dr Muizzu conveyed best wishes and reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to enhancing cooperation in the years ahead.
The President concluded both messages by wishing good health and happiness to the Vietnamese leaders and continued progress and prosperity to the people of Vietnam.
