Bank of Maldives has newly introduced an ATM with Dollar transaction facilities.
Speaking in the inaugurating ceremony held at Nasandhura Palace Hotel on Thursday morning، CEO & the Marketing Director of BML Andrew Healy said the customers holding a Dollar Account in BML can withdraw up to 640 Dollars a day using their Debit Card، with the newly introduced ‘Dollar’ ATM.
“Today، we are introducing Bank of Maldives’ Dollar ATM. With this ATM، the customers can withdraw and deposit Dollars at any time of the day، with free of charge. The maximum amount to withdraw is 640 Dollars.” Andrew said.
The ATM can only be used with Debit card holders. Credit Cards cannot be accessible for the Dollar ATM.
Highlighting the successful introduction and positive feedback of Self-service ATMs، Healy said he hopes that BML will receive the same response from the customers for the new Dollar ATM. He said that within next year، Dollar ATMs will be allocated in five different areas of Male’.
He also said that within two to three months، a Dollar ATM will be allocated in Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.
The newly introduced Dollar ATM is at Bank of Maldives main branch building.
