Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer has invited the entire world to visit the Maldives in the Visit Maldives Year 2016. He extended the invitation on behalf of the President.
He made the statement speaking in the ceremony held in Dharubaaruge to launch the “Visit Maldives Year 2016 Festival”. Minister Zameer said that Maldives is a nation who has always welcomed their visitors and that 2016 will be a more remarkable year for the visitors.
He noted the year that had been targeted for one million tourists was fully realized.
Moosa Zameer added that many activities had been planned to be carried out as part of the Visit Maldives Year and that the activities will enrich and benefit the sector.
