Yoosuf Rifdhan Afeef has been chosen as the best all-rounder and “Golden Star” of Majeediyya School for the academic year 2014.
Rifdhan was also achieved the first place of National Top Ten Awards by achieving 5 distinctions in last year’s O Level examinations.
Abdulla Yaafeez placed second and was chosen as the “Silver Star” of the school and Mohamed Muzaah and Abiyan Mohamed Saleem came third in the school and were chosen as the “Bronze Star” award winners.
State Minister of Education، Dr. Abdulla Nazeer gave away the prizes to these students at the Prize Day ceremony of Majeediyya School held last night.
While a total of 119 students of Majeediyya School participated in last year’s O Level examinations، 82% of those students passed in 5 subjects and above. Whereas 23 students of the school were included in the National Top Ten، 3 students achieved first place also.
Students who won prizes and prizes in extra curricular activities were also awarded during last night’s ceremony.
Peaking as the chief guest of the Prize Day ceremony of Majeediyya School، State Minister of Education، Dr. Abdulla Nazeer said that education is important for the economic development of a country and that education is the main key of economy.
Performances by the Brass Band of Majeediyya School and various other students were presented in this ceremony which was also attended by the Education Minister، Dr. Aishath Shiham.
