Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MNCCI) has announced that the Night Market will be inaugurated this evening, at a ceremony which will include paramotoring.
Night market, where a large variety of goods are sold at low prices, is held in Malé ahead of Ramadan every year.
Vice President of MNCCI Ismail Asif told Sun Online that unique activities - including paramotoring - will be held at Usfasgandu to combine the celebrations for 50 years of independence and the inauguration of the Night Market.
Paramotoring, also known as powered paragliding, involves the use of a motorized steerable parachute powered by a motor and propeller, strapped to the pilot’s back.
About 500 stalls selling clothes, household items, toys, and so on have been set up on the street between Tuscaloosa and STO petrol shed.
