Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB)’s payment gateway MIB Global Pay has partnered with eeezap – Maldives’ first super app.
Launched last year, eeezap is an e-commerce platform that connects businesses with its end-customers across a myriad of sectors entailing everything from ride-hailing services and courier services, delivery services to on-demand services such as freelance photography, personal training and tuition.
The MIB, the only full-fledged digital bank in the Maldives, signed a partnership agreement with eeezap on Thursday, to help the young team behind the super app find a safe and convenient payment method.
The agreement was signed by MIB’s CEO and Managing Director Mufaddal Idris Khumri and eeezap’s Managing Director Ahmed Mauroof Abdul Hakeem in a ceremony held at MIB’s headquarters.
According to eeezap, the agreement allows for payments for transactions made through the app to be paid with any Visa or Mastercard through the MIB Global Pay.
The MIB Global Pay is a full-fledged payment gateway with features designed to supercharge e-commerce operations.
