His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has sent congratulatory messages to the State President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, His Excellency Luong Cuong, and the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, His Excellency Pham Minh Chinh, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Viet Nam.
In his message to the State President, President Dr Muizzu extended warm greetings on behalf of the Government and people of the Maldives, noting the milestone as a reflection of the enduring friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation between the two countries. He also expressed confidence in further strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in economic collaboration and people-to-people exchange.
In his message to the Prime Minister, President Dr Muizzu conveyed best wishes and reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to enhancing cooperation in the years ahead.
The President concluded both messages by wishing good health and happiness to the Vietnamese leaders and continued progress and prosperity to the people of Viet Nam.
