A person from the island, however, said the underage girl and her mother performed an abortion after they came to know of her being pregnant out of wedlock and buried the foetus covered in a tissue in the house. "They reportedly took photographs [of the foetus] after performing the abortion. They got busted after they sent one of the photographs to a friend of her," the person who wished to remain anonymous said. "The case was then reported to the police and the foetus has been buried again in the cemetery today." Residents of the island previously filed other cases, which involved her, to the police.
