Opposition MDP’s chairperson، Ali Waheed، who has been detained following the opposition’s mass protest on May 1، was brought to Male’ today، for an MRI scan of his spine.
Though stating that Ali Waheed was brought to Male’ for medical reasons، the Police media official did not disclose any further details.
A spokesperson from MDP stated that Ali Waheed was brought to ADK Hospital at around 18:00 on Tuesday to have an MRI scan of his spine.
This is the third time Ali Waheed was brought to Male’ for medical purposes.
Criminal Court had remanded Ali Waheed for 15 days in detention، which was appealed in High Court.
