Leader of PPM PG and MP of Vilimalé constituency، Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik has said that all the members of PPM Parliamentary Group will take part in the no confidence motion against Vice President Ahmed Adeeb.
Speaking Channel 13 tonight، Nihan said that none of the members of the group “will go without participating in this vote”.
No confidence motion against Adeeb has been submitted to the Majlis at such a time when VP Adeeb has been arrested for the investigation of the explosion aboard presidential launch “Finifenma”. Nihan said in the media last night that the no confidence motion against VP Adeeb will be passed before the Republic Day.
In an interview to “Vaguthu” on a former occasion، Nihan said that he trusts VP Adeeb only because President Yameen trusts Adeeb.
“These are things we maintain on the basis of President’s trust in Adeeb. From the moment that President loses his trust tomorrow morning even، my trust will also be lost. Whether it’s Ahmed Adeeb. Or anyone else”، said Nihan.
Adeeb has been notified 14 days to prepare for answering at the People’s Majlis in relation to the no confidence motion filed against Vice President Adeeb.
