President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has established the Maldives Media and Broadcasting Commission, as mandated under clause four of the Maldives Media and Broadcasting Regulation Act (Act No. 16/2025).
The Maldives Media and Broadcasting Regulation Bill was ratified today. With its ratification, the Bill has now become law and is enforceable.
