Queen Anne, the newest vessel in the fleet of Cunard, the first cruise line to bring one of their ships to the Maldives, docked in the Maldivian capital on Saturday with over 2,600 tourists.
The Bermuda-flagged ship, measuring 323 meters in length and 36 meters in width, is one of the largest cruise ships to call at the Maldives this year.
The ship arrived in Male’ from Port Victoria in Seychelles, and is set to leave for the Sri Lankan capital Colombo at around 06:00 pm.
The ship arrived in the Maldives with 2,669 passengers and 1,235 crew members.

Founded in 1840, Cunard is one of the world’s oldest cruise lines and currently operates a fleet of four ships. Queen Anne, launched in 2024, is the newest addition and has capacity for nearly 3 000 passengers and more than 1, 200 crew members.
According to Mohamed Nasheed, the president of Maldives Association of Yacht Agents (MAYA), Cunard has the first cruise line to operate a cruise ship to the Maldives.
Queen Anne spans 14 decks and includes a mix of accommodation categories, dining venues, entertainment spaces, wellness facilities and retail outlets. She is also the largest ship in Cunard’s fleet to have completed a full circumnavigation of the globe.
