MTCC has been contracted with making a new channel through the reef and constructing an outer sea wall in F.Bilehdhoo.
Speaking at the contract awarding ceremony Housing Minister Dr. Muhammadh Muizz said that even now there is a harbour in Bileiydhoo but people are unable to use it.
“That is why President Yameen decided to make it possible for the people of the island to be able to use the harbour. That is why today we are contracting MTCC with this work” said Muizz.
Dr.Muizz said that they have allocated money for this project in this year’s budget. The whole project should be completed within 160 days as per the agreement.
