The recently appointed Ambassador of Switzerland to Maldives Hanspeter Mock, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid on Sunday.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Shahid congratulated Ambassador Mock on his recent appointment and expressed hope that bilateral ties and cooperation would be strengthened during Ambassador Mock’s tenure.
According to the Ministry, Ambassador Mock assured his commitment to work with the Government to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
Moreover, Ambassador Mock spoke about his plans to deepen cooperation on areas of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid was joined by Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Shujau.
