President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed an additional State Minister to the Ministry of Education.
Mohamed Shakir from Kinbigasdhoshuge in H. A. Dhidhdhoo was working as a Director of the Administrative Department of Ministry of Education prior to his appointment as State Minister.
Shakir’s appointment brings the total number of state ministers at Ministry of Education to four.
