The Bank of Maldives (BML) on Monday donated MVR60,000 to the non-profit Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC).
During a special reception held on Monday morning at the main headquarters of BML, the honorary check was presented by the bank’s CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer.
The national bank of Maldives confirms the donation will be put to the use of developing special programs under the Non-Government Organization.
“Our donation will help in ARC’s efforts in protecting the rights of children and to develop specific programs for the prosperity of them” BML frontman Sawyer said, adding “providing assistance to such philanthropic organizations is a pleasure and honor for us.”
Moreover, the bank came forward in assisting ARC organized ‘Beat Bullying’ campaign earlier in 2019 as well.
