Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr.Mohamed Muizzu visits Maafannu Muiveyodhoshu maizaan to check and observe the ongoing works.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure and State Electric Company Ltd (STELCO) the Re-development of Muiveyodhoshu maizaan will be carried out by STELCO.
As mentioned on the MoU STELCO will also maintain the Maizaan for 10 years under a specific concept provided by the Ministry. The “Jumhooree Binaa” previously located in the Sultan Park is set to be relocated to Miuveyodhoshu Maizaan. All the works of the project will be completed and Muiveyodhoshu maizaan will be opened before the end of November 2015.
