President Abdulla Yameen has inaugurated a guest-house, Pallazo, in Gan in Laamu Atoll.
After the inauguration ceremony, the President toured the guest-house premises.
The new guest-house in Gan – Photo: Mohamed Sajid The 28-room guest-house, located on Mukuri Magu in Gan, was constructed by Top Deck Investment, a subsidiary of Amin Construction.
The new guest-house in Gan – Photo: Mohamed Sajid Pallazo Operations Manager Mohamed Sajid told Sun Online that construction work for the MVR 50 million project began about seven years ago.
“It has taken a long time to open the guest-house, because the work was suspended for a long duration for different reasons,” said Sajid.
Pallazo occupies 68,000 square feet and is equipped with a swimming pool and recreation facilities.
