Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Abdulla Bin Rashid Al Mualla, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office.
During the call, President Dr Muizzu expressed his gratitude for the agreement concerning the Maldives International Financial Centre and stated that he looked forward to working together in areas of mutual interest.
Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates, reaffirmed their commitment to continued investment in the Maldives. He emphasised support for enhancing the country’s food security, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, improving agriculture, and developing infrastructure critical for long-term stability and growth. He also noted their willingness to assist in improving the Maldives’ credit rating and overall development.
Concluding the call, both leaders expressed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and working together in the future.
