President discusses key development priorities with Omadhoo Island Council, WDC, and institutional heads

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the Omadhoo Island Council, Women’s Development Committee (WDC), and heads of local institutions to discuss key development concerns. The meeting was held at the Omadhoo Fenaka Office.
During the discussions, council members highlighted the community's most urgent needs, including solutions for the island's water and sewerage systems, as well as measures to alleviate space constraints at the school and Health Centre. They also called for enhanced shoreline protection to prevent erosion, initiatives to address housing shortages, road development, and sports facilities for the island.
The President assured participants that the Government would take their concerns into consideration. He was accompanied by cabinet ministers and senior officials from State-Owned Enterprises, who also provided updates on ongoing development projects.
