Ooredoo Maldives has announced an exciting new initiative that puts children’s creativity in the spotlight with their Fun Run Art Contest, specifically designed for young artists aged 7 and under. The contest aims to capture the spirit of the Fun Run event through the imaginative lens of the country’s youngest creative minds.
According to Hussain Niyaz, Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo Maldives, “With our creative team on leave, we’re handing over the brushes, crayons and imagination to the real pros – kids! The Fun Run is about community spirit and joy, and no one captures that better than our little artists.”
The contest invites young participants to create artwork inspired by the Fun Run theme, encompassing elements of color, movement, togetherness, fitness, and fun. Parents or guardians can submit their child’s artwork by sending a clear photo or scan to [email protected] before the deadline of September 27, 2025, at 23:59 Maldives time.
In an innovative approach to selecting winners, Ooredoo will showcase eligible entries on their official social media platforms. The five artworks that receive the most likes across their social media posts will each be awarded five Fun Kits. Each submission must include the child’s first name and age, along with the parent or guardian’s contact information. Participants also have the option to include a brief caption of up to 20 words with their artwork.
The telecommunications company has outlined clear participation guidelines, emphasizing that each child may submit only one entry. Parents or guardians must confirm ownership of the submission and provide consent for Ooredoo to share the artwork on their official channels. All entries are required to meet community standards, with no offensive content permitted.
This creative initiative not only provides a platform for young artists to showcase their talent but also reinforces Ooredoo’s commitment to community engagement and youth development. The contest aligns with their #LiveUnlimited and #FunRun campaign messages, encouraging artistic expression and community participation among the youngest members of society.
