President extends greetings on Kuwait's National Day and Liberation Day

His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended warm greetings and sincere felicitations to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, on the occasions of the National Day and Liberation Day of Kuwait.
In separate letters to the Amir and the Prime Minister, President Dr Muizzu conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Government and the people of the Maldives. He highlighted that the Maldives highly values the close and cordial relations between the two countries, firmly grounded in mutual respect and shared values.
The President expressed confidence that the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation will continue to deepen and progress in a positive and constructive manner, contributing meaningfully to the sustained wellbeing and prosperity of the people of both countries.
President Dr Muizzu further extended personal best wishes for the continued good health and wellbeing of both leaders, and for the continued progress and prosperity of Kuwait.
On his official X account, the President acknowledged the generous support extended through the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development towards the development of the Maldives, expressing belief that the partnership holds immense potential for further expansion.
Kuwait's National Day is observed on 25 February, whilst Liberation Day is marked on 26 February.
