Kulhudhuffushi City has been placed under monitoring mechanisms by authorities due to a case COVID-19 identified in the city.
The northern city was placed under monitoring status due to a positive case identified from a boat. Health Emergency Operations Center (HEOC) spokesperson Dr. Nazla Rafeeq said that a crew member of a boat tested positive.
Sources have stated that the positive case was a captain of a boat that travels between the city and the capital. The island of H. Dh. Nolhivaram is also under monitoring in connection with the case.
