A series of special activities aimed at enhancing religious awareness have been carried out in Shaviyani Goidhoo, jointly organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the Goidhoo Council under the ministry’s “Risalath Program.”
As part of the initiative, a special forum titled “Do Not Despair!” was held with the objective of strengthening Islamic awareness among the island’s community and delivering authentic religious guidance. The forum featured Al-Shaikh Aazim Khalid, with moderation by Aalim Abdul Latheef, CEO of Nuktah, representing the Council.
In addition to the forum, dedicated religious information sessions were conducted for students from Grade 1 to 6 of Goidhoo School. Separate sessions were also held for staff of Goidhoo institutions and parents of Goidhoo School students, ensuring the program reached all key community groups.
The program further included a mosque sermon delivered as part of the Risalath activities. Throughout the sessions, religious guidance was provided by Al-Shaikh Aazim Khalid, with assistance from Aalim Abdul Latheef.
