Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has been sworn in as the eighth President of the Republic of the Maldives.
At a special Parliament session held at the Republic Square in Male' City, Chief Justice Ahmed Muthasim Adnan administered the oath of office. The event was attended by members of Parliament, foreign representatives, and approximately 4,500 invitees.
