The local telecom services، Ooredoo Maldives، is offering free calls to Saudi Arabia for the rest of the day today.
The interim free charges came after the incident of Hajj stampede which occurred in Mina today، killing over 700 and injuring 800 pilgrims.

Local media reporter Moosa Waseem، who is in Saudi Arabia said that the incident occurred in a street in Mina، on the way to Jamrah (Stoning of the Devil rituatl).
No Maldivians have been reported hurt، Hajj Corporation informed.
Saudi authorities and media reports say the number of casualties may rise.
