President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has issued a fresh appeal to the opposition to join the all-party talks.
He made the appeal in the ceremony held to open the Tsunami Memorial Pavilion.
President Yameen said that the Government will constantly and consistently take part in all initiatives run within the means of law, adding that he will welcome all efforts by the opposition on legal and judicial reform.
He added that all have to closely review the acts of the Government. President said that government will welcome constructive criticism and will work with the opposition to initiate reforms.
President Yameen stressed that the Government had conducted the talks with sincerity and that the only way to know this was through discussions.
He added that political rivalry is part and parcel of any democratic society, urging all to ally in the development of nation.
