China-Maldives Human Resource Training Program honors 287 Maldivians at reception

A reception was held on Monday to honor participants of the China-Maldives Human Resource Training Program, recognizing the contributions of Maldivians who joined the initiative this year.  
A total of 287 Maldivians from various fields took part in the program, including members of parliament, journalists, and deputy ministers.  
Speaking at the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Kong Xianhua said the program had trained participants in economic development, health and education management, and sports. He noted that some participants were awarded scholarships to pursue higher education in China.

The Ambassador expressed hope that the lessons learned through the program would help shape Maldives’ future development.  
Several participants also shared their experiences in China and reflected on what they had gained from the training program.
